Job DescriptionAbout the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Engineer (Bridges & Highway Structures O&M) to join our team in Doha, Qatar on a long-term project managing the Strategic Highways Structures in the country.In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Structures Manager to coordinate and manage Inspections and Maintenance of bridges and highway structures across the network, ensuring their safety, structural integrity and serviceability in compliance with the contract’s Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This includes bridges, footbridges flyovers/interchanges, iconic bridges, tunnels, monuments, culverts, retaining walls, gantries, masts and other highway structural assets.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate all activities assigned by the Project Manager to ensure compliance with contractual requirements for Inspections, Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance, meeting all required SLAs and KPIs – effectively eliminating any qualify failures.Ensure daily effective utilization of all staff working for Structures (both in house and subcontractors) eliminating waste and ensuring consistency.Ensure accurate utilization of Asset Management System (MAXIMO) to manage and close out Work Orders (Wos) and Service Request (SRs) correctly and efficiently by all stakeholders (internal and external) involved in structures works.Support structures manager to manage deliverables, represent structures in client meetings and engage with stakeholders, subcontractors and in-house teams.Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams (e.g. traffic management, lighting, highways, pavement, HSE and other teams) to ensure integrated network operations and maintenance and maximize efficiency.
