Job DescriptionAs a Senior Associate Civil Structural Engineer in our New Zealand business, your impact will be in the successful delivery of technically complex structural projects across New Zealand. This role will ideally be based in Wellington, however we are open to exploring other locations for the right candidate.What you’ll doAct as lead project engineer and provide technical expertise and advice through all stages of the project lifecycle relating to building structures and civil infrastructures.Assist Regional Lead with business development in the civil structure space, with particular focus on the development of business within the Wellington region.Establish, lead and develop a team of civil structural engineers, providing technical advice and direction to all employee levels through technical challenges and issues.Assist with projects of scale and complexity across both Australia and New Zealand.Contribute to the training and development of junior engineers and project resources.Act as project liaison, monitor project progress and provide project status reports to client/s.  Develop and maintain positive client relationship/s, to ensure on-going client satisfaction and service delivery.Financial management of projects by monitoring the actual time and cost expended on the total project against the budget, informing client of any changes in scope of work or other causes of variances from project resources.
