Job DescriptionReporting to the Project Manager, the Senior Bridge Lead will be responsible for supporting the overall success of Major Projects in Canada for Egis Canada Ltd.Leading in producing engineering products for bridge rehabilitation and new design projects from concept through construction to meet customer quality requirements.Complete detailed structural design calculations and analysis.Work independently and as part of a team to define problems, establish work scope, prepare budgets and schedules, plan the work, and provide technical direction and oversight.Prepare and check detailed engineering models, drawings, specifications, quantities, cost estimates, and technical reports.Develop and review designs for new bridges and bridge rehabilitation.Provide expertise and services related to the evaluation, inspection, and rehabilitation of transportation structures.Review cost estimates, specifications, and tender documents prepared by junior engineers.Coordinate and collaborate with other engineering disciplines and departments, including highway, foundation, environmental, drainage, and electrical.Maintain effective working relationships with clients.Perform project management duties, including assembling and managing project teams, controlling budgets and schedules, ensuring quality control, and managing client interactions.Provide input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and less experienced Engineers.Ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
