Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Senior Architectural Designer to join our San Francisco studio.Job DescriptionThe Senior Architectural Designer will be responsible for leading all design phases for architectural projects, establishing concepts, and leading project teams.What Will You do?Independently generate the conceptual design and/or master plan for projects and contribute to the development of project design direction.Develop and participate in design presentations & design charettes in the United States and abroad.Work collaboratively with the project team in planning work and developing solutions to technical and design detail challenges.Lead coordination of project efforts, administrative and technical, to assure efficient execution of projects needsProvide leadership to contributing designers on project(s) and monitor project design development with the assistance of Project Manager or Managing PartnerReview design and technical drawing of junior designersReview project billings for consistency with contract terms and conditions with P.M. and accountingObtain formal approvals from clients & stakeholder teamsCoordinate and prepare project correspondence with assistance of Project Manager(s)Work with Marketing to pursue new business opportunitiesPrimary client liaison to bring the schedule and scope of work to completion to client satisfaction, within established project budgetMust be willing to travelIdeal candidates must be a collaborative and motivating leader, with in-depth technical knowledge and expertise in all phases of design with a desire to grow and mentor junior staff.
