Job DescriptionTurner & Townsend Heery are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Airports / Aviation to support our major aviation clients.  The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have excellent communication skills, be able to take the initiative and drive activities with limited supervision.*Requires 100% on siteResponsibilities:Lead the architectural design process for aviation-related capital projects, ensuring alignment with program goals, airport standards, and stakeholder expectations.Design Management to oversee and coordinate the work of internal and external design teams, including architects, engineers, and consultants, to ensure cohesive and high-quality design outcomes.Collaborate closely with airport authorities, airline representatives, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders throughout all project phases to gather input, present design concepts, and secure approvals.Program integration to ensure architectural design solutions are fully integrated with broader capital improvement program objectives, including operational efficiency, passenger experience, and sustainability goals.Regulatory Compliance to ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, ADA requirements, and airport-specific design guidelines.Manage the preparation and quality control of design documentation deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and presentation materials.Project coordination with project managers, construction teams, and consultants to align design intent with budget, schedule, and constructability considerations.Lead internal and external design reviews, ensuring adherence to quality standards and design excellence throughout all phases.Change management to evaluate and manage design changes, ensuring impacts to scope, cost, and schedule are clearly communicated and documented.Identifying opportunities to improve Project Management procedures, templates and products referring ideas to the appropriate line manager.Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout project.General line management responsibilities (where appropriate) are effectively discharged.SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
