Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking to recruit an experienced SHQ Associate Director with a strong track record in delivering H&S consultancy/Principal Designer/CDM advisory across a broad range of projects and programme based out of our Birmingham office.You will be responsible for delivering SHQ consultancy services to existing and new clients, contributing to the income generation activities of the business unit.You will have a good track record in contributing to business development, be able to work on your own initiative and be comfortable working in, as well as leading teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProviding competent advice, guidance, and support on various construction & design health and safety matters to colleagues and clientsEnsuring exemplary standards of the Principal Designer role on experience-capable sites, coordinating design team meetings, assisting clients in developing H&S arrangements/Project Briefs, and conducting workshops/seminars on client dutiesAdvising clients on CDM Regulations and relevant H&S requirements for construction projectsConducting site inspections across various health and safety aspects, assessing performance, and identifying compliance actionsAuditing client supply chains to ensure compliance with Principal Contractor and/or Principal Designer dutiesAuditing client management systems to ensure adherence to CDM 2015 and effective design and construction management processesDeveloping and nurturing industry relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partnersDelivering health and safety training sessions to clients, project teams, and internal audiencesConducting H&S audits of client and supply chain safety management systems, including evidence of successful implementationAssisting in developing further H&S or CDM opportunities through technical articles, speaking engagements, and bid support
