We want to bring in driven, dedicated, and diverse talent into our organization who are just as passionate as we are in continuing to tell stories that reflect our global audience.  Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to: Film Finance: The Film Finance team is responsible for managing all financial aspects of a film project’s lifecycle—from budgeting and pre-production, through production, to post-production. The Finance Intern will work closely with finance managers to assist in the preparation of film budgets, perform ad hoc financial analyses, and contribute to the overall financial duties of film projects.Global Distribution Controllership: This role will be responsible for assisting Global Distribution Accounting and Reporting with the monthly and quarterly close process, financial audit and SOX compliance, customer audits, and monthly reporting to third parties for whom NBCU serves as the distribution agent.International Finance and UPHE Global Finance: The International Finance and UPHE Global Finance interns will be integral parts of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. The interns will be involved in sales and revenue forecasting, working directly with the sales organization to develop and review revenue budgets in over 100 territories and will be responsible for creating and maintaining deal analysis/financial models, and providing insights to key trends in the markets.Production Finance: The intern will support NBCU Studio Group which oversees the development, production, and marketing/distribution of our Film & TV Content. The Studio Group Finance team is responsible for the financial consolidation, reporting, and analysis of the Film & TV studios.USG TV FP&A: This intern will work on Monthly Pacings/Forecasts while assisting in pulling reports from our Finance database (BPC SMART) to help in variance analysis for both OCF & FCF, such as Content Delivery & Airing Schedule Analysis. They will also work on the 13-Week Forecast, 3rd Party Collections Reconciliation, and with the Development Finance Assist team in tracking development projects within. This team works regularly with partners across the broader organization including TV Distribution, Home Entertainment, and Studios/Corporate finance, so being proactive, adaptable, and team-minded is key in our day-to-day environment.USG TV Production Finance: Interns are educated on business unit operations and workflows that support various domestic and international television productions and on-site accounting teams. Interns partner internally and externally to gain exposure to financial systems, accounts payable, production payroll, budgeting, and cost reporting. Daily ad hoc projects include ledger inquiry research, analysis, forensic accounting, p-card management, invoice processing, and check printing, as well as updating and distributing various weekly production tracking spreadsheets and more.
