Job Description🚀 Join the Fusion and Modular Nuclear Business Unit! 🚀Reporting to the Turbine Island Lead, the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for developing fluid systems. The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer shall work closely with multi-disciplined teams and the supply chain to help deliver the system design.  Your mission:🖥️ Develop 2D CAD drawings, including detailed process flow diagrams (PFD) and process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID).  🏗️ Prepare 3D CAD/BIM models, covering plant layouts, piping design, isometrics, MTO, general arrangement drawings, detailed drawings, and sketches. ⚙️ Perform layout optimization engineering throughout design phases to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.  📐 Participate in 3D model reviews, layout reviews, design reviews, and technical meetings to ensure precision and alignment.  🔒 Ensure compliance with all design safety factors, tolerances, specifications, standards, codes, legislation, and requirements.  🤝 Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to achieve a coordinated and cohesive design.  🗂️ Maintain thorough records of the design process in line with best practices, ensuring meticulous documentation. 💾 Update and manage databases for CAD/BIM design documentation, keeping everything current and organized.  📈 Report status and updates to the management team to keep everyone informed and aligned.  🤖 Support the team by upholding high standards, meeting targets, and adhering to quality, time, and budget constraints.  🛠️ Mediate and resolve issues with all stakeholders, ensuring solutions are aligned and effective.  🛡️Adhere to company statutory H&S Policies and rules, maintaining compliance with project and quality standards.Why Join the Community of Switchers?🌟 Over 55 years in nuclear engineering.🏆 Ranked among the top 3 largest nuclear engineering companies.💼 Attractive social benefits, including an engaging Employee Committee and holiday bonuses.📚 Ongoing training with numerous career opportunities.📈 70% of our managers are promoted internally!🏠 Hybrid work: 1-2 days remote per week.
