Job DescriptionJob Summary  The Asset Management Analyst is responsible for maintaining accurate records of hardware and software in the IT Asset Management system.Responsible for responding to Remedy request and work order tickets as they involve IT assets working independently under minimal supervision.Key Accountabilities Resolve customer requests, issues in line with customer agreements with agreed schedule to required quality standards Key Tasks & Activities Review Remedy ticket que and handle tickets involving AMCorrect errors in asset databaseProvide team support and process improvements through individual contributions.Participate in routine operational meetingsProductive in an open work environment with multiple conversations occurring nearby and daily deadlinesFrequent manual keying and data entry  Min. Qualifications & Exp. Qualifications –BMC Remedy or other ticketing systemADDM, SCCM, Casper, ZENworks, or other computer configuration collection programGeneral knowledge of IT computer systems including terms and relationships between HW, SW, and networkIT Asset ManagementData management and reportingAbility to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essentialThe ability to communicate technical details and concepts to at least senior management level within a customer organizationCritical problem solving skills with attention to detail, with the ability to explain and express technical issues to non-technical individualsWorking knowledge of software licensing terms and agreementsWorking knowledge of System Design Life CycleWorking knowledge of asset management software and/or inventory-tracking systemsKnowledge of ITIL SoftSkills –  Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)Strong analytical and problem solving skillsGood documentation skillsGood working knowledge of MS Office  (including MS Word, PowerPoint, Access)Better than average knowledge of ExcelShould have a great customer handling skillsAble to handle unforeseen situationsHigh level of acceptanceLanguage Fluency in reading & writing English
