Job DescriptionThe Aparecio Foundation is a new and growing organization with a great need for Mentor Liaisons. The position of High School Mentor Liaison will be responsible for the research of mentorship models across high school settings as well as identifying best practices amongst mentors. The High School Mentor Liaison will also be responsible for researching common mistakes in mentoring and ensuring that the purpose of the organization’s mentorship program is facilitated sufficiently. The High School Mentor Liaison will be responsible for creating relationships, the development of programs, and analysis of methods and models of mentoring.  Description of Duties / Responsibilities:Establish and maintain relationships with other agencies and organizations in community to meet community needs and to ensure that services are not duplicated.Research currently existing mentor programs of similar kind in the Chicago area to learn their success and failure. Research Academia by conducting an analysis of different models of mentoring to see which ones are effective according to the studies that have been done.Compile the data and develop a framework for the mentor program.Develop a framework of women to recruit for the organization/building mentor database.Develop curriculum for the mentorship program.Attend professional meetings, training workshops, and read publications on the field to enhance professional competence.
