Job DescriptionMissions and Purpose of this position:ONE ContiTech – The first choice for material driven solutions.Are you interested in shaping the future of ContiTech together with a great team?Please join us and contribute to our goals with your new role as Regional Category Buyer Packaging & Tools within Purchasing@ContiTech.The  Regional Category Buyer Packaging & Tools is responsible for the regional Strategic Sourcing in the area of above mentioned Services.The Regional Category approach creates a mutual added Value for all internal Customers in terms of commercial, logistical, and processual Enhancements by providing Expertise and Best Practices around the needs of the internal Customers as well as strengthening the relationship to strategic Business Partners (internally and externally).Your tasksLeading all related purchasing activities in the respective region related toPackaging - Wooded, Paper ,PlasticTools - molds, fixturestogether with the Global Category Head.Drive negotiations considering best commercial and operational aspects and ensure compliance with valid rulesIdentify synergy potential where- and whenever possibleEnsure full coverage of all business requirements in the received offersDrive contractual coverageAct as point of escalation for operational topicsSupport operational improvements by negotiating commercial benefitsDevelop, improve and maintain rate cards standardsEnsure proper upload of rate tables in SAP S4 HANA TM module where rolled out and demanded by the businessKeep alignment between purchasing and internal customer strategyOversee GBS managed tenders to ensure compliance if neededIdentify together with internal customer sustainable transport options
