Job DescriptionDungarvin is seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator to lead high-volume payroll operations with a focus on accuracy, speed, and consistency. In this role, you will serve as a key payroll expert, ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time while maintaining compliance, supporting reporting needs, and protecting system integrity across multiple states. You will partner closely with HR, Accounting, and business leaders to resolve payroll issues, strengthen processes, and enhance the overall employee experience. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys hands-on payroll execution while also contributing to continuous improvement in a mission-driven environment. This is not purely transactional payroll work. It requires strong ownership of payroll accuracy, a solid understanding of compliance requirements, and the ability to identify, investigate, and resolve root-cause issues in collaboration with cross-functional partners. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Process multi-state bi-weekly payroll, including off-cycle checks, reversals, and stop payments.  Audit payroll and reconcile timekeeping data to ensure accuracy of earnings, hours, and deductions.  Maintain payroll system integrity, including employee updates, job changes, and pay adjustments.  Serve as the primary contact for employee payroll inquiries and issue resolution.  Manage garnishments, accruals, and payroll reporting, including required external filings.  Support payroll tax compliance, year-end activities, and related reporting requirements.  Partner with HR and Accounting to identify and implement payroll process improvements and maintain supporting documentation.
