Job DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated and service-oriented Service Desk Engineer to join our multilingual team based in Barcelona, acting as the first point of contact for IT support and supporting a diverse community of users across Europe. In this role, you will help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our laboratories, offices, and VIP users across more than 500 sites.Working in a collaborative and international environment, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality support and maintaining a positive user experience. You will also contribute to continuous improvement by sharing knowledge, identifying recurring issues, and supporting the development of internal processes and documentation.Key Responsibilities: • Provide first-line IT support to end users across Europe, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to Microsoft 365 applications and Windows 10/11 environments. • Support identity and access management processes, including user account and permission management. • Assist with printing services, patching activities, and basic application triage and routing. • Log, categorise, and track incidents using ticketing systems. • Escalate more complex issues to second-line support teams where necessary. • Contribute to knowledge base and documentation improvements. • Identify recurring issues and propose workarounds or long-term solutions.
