Job DescriptionEurofins Environment Testing, Air Toxics is seeking a Support Services Technician to join our team!Support Services Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Cleaning and preparing of sample mediaPackaging and shipment of media to clientsBuilding and repairing flow controllersAssembling and dismantling shipping boxesAccuracy and attention to detailAble to perform the physical requirements of the jobAbility to adhere to safety protocol  Demonstrate good Organizational skills ,versatility, flexibility, and efficiencyEffective use of time in managing multiple prioritiesInterpret and understand oral or written instructionsPerform other support duties as assignedTeamwork, working closely with all the departmentsAdditional duties as neededHazardous Material HandlingThe Eurofins Air Toxics laboratory houses chemicals necessary for the analysis of various environmental samples. These chemicals can be harmful if not properly handled. The list includes but is not limited to; cryogenic Dewars of liquid nitrogen, compressed gasses including helium, nitrogen and hydrogen, sharps and liquid solvents such as methylene chloride, acetonitrile and acetone.  This position requires the ability to safely handle and transport these bulk chemicals. The employee will be required to read and reference the Chemical Hygiene Plan and Injury and Illness Prevention Program for additional information and instruction.
