With constant learning at the core of this role, curiosity and ownership will be essential to your success.Responsibilities:Data ExtractionBuild data extractors to parse e-receipts using NielsenIQ’s proprietary markup language and RegEx.Debug and fine-tune templates to make sure they’re accurate, then validate your work with SQL and BI tools.Keep documentation clear and communicate effectively with tech teams and client-facing teams.Adapt extraction logic as data formats and business needs change.Stay up to date with our internal processes and tools.Data Quality & Analysis Conduct comprehensive checks to ensure data is complete, accurate, consistent, and correctly parsed, leveraging BI tools and SQL.Investigate anomalies and irregularities specific to transactional data.Write and optimize SQL queries, and build dashboards to support large‑scale analysis.Prepare clear, actionable reports for client‑facing teams.Process ImprovementSpot opportunities for automation and help improve our processes and tools.Support strategic projects aimed at improving operational workflows.Work closely with developers, analysts and client-facing teams to design solutions together.Keep operational and project documentation up to date.Qualifications First experience (internship, projects) in data operations, analytics or tech related roles.Basic SQL skills: Ability to write simple queries to retrieve and inspect data; Can read and understand more complex queries written by others; Understands table structures, relationships, and how data is organized within a database.A logical, analytical mindset to tackle complex tasks and spot patterns in data.Great communication skills and attention to detail (crucial when working with data that people rely on to make decisions).Fluency in English.Nice to Have:Hands-on experience with at least one BI tool like Tableau, Power BI, Looker etc.Knowledge of e-commerce data and industry trends.Familiarity with analytical platforms like Snowflake or Databricks.Previous experience in QA or data validation.Familiarity with HTML, XML, RegEx, or other scripting/markup languages.Experience working in agile environments and understanding basic software development processes.We offer:Food vouchers € 62Additional Medical Insurance, incl Prophylactics, Outpatient care, Inpatient care, еxpenses for medications and medical productsLife InsuranceMultisport card (self-funded by the employee) A Hybrid model of working: 3 days of the week you work from home (home office), 2 days from the office.Additional paid leave of 3 days in case of no overdue leave days from previous yearFree access to LinkedIn Learning platformIn addition: Working in an international organization, once you become a specialist in your field, you can count on numerous programs offering development or relocation to other departments or countries.
