Job DescriptionBrightspeed is looking for a Project Manager, Fiber Engineering and Construction to join our team! This position will be part of the Engineering & Construction Fiber Build team. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of engineering projects, network design, construction scheduling & implementation and asset management. The Fiber Build program diverse in nature ranging from Fiber Overbuild & Subsidy deployment, Vendor oversight, Build Milestone & Schedule management, Right of Way, Joint Use, permitting, process development, training & communication and compliance to process.The position will be a critical part of the Engineering and Construction team that will collaboratively manage complex and long duration type projects. This role has C Suite exposure and requires strong business acumen, strong data analytics, the abilities to define and implement groundbreaking ideas, to work within a fast-moving environment to rapidly deliver support and services that have a broad business impact, and desire to have an industry wide impact.As a Project Manager, Fiber Engineering & Construction your responsibilities will include:Developing and monitoring engineering and construction build plans across various network typesCoordinating & creating work schedules to ensure on time delivery for both internal workforce and contracted vendorsTracking milestone activities for highly complex projects/programs across multiple lines of business both internal and externalEnsuring compliance requirements are adhered to for all regulatory obligationsEnsuring projects meet network readiness dates within budget allotments via strong vendor performance managementUtilizing Cost Per Premise Modeling during design and revision phasesDrive and facilitate actionable data analysis with partner groups (IT, Business, and Vendors)Providing technical oversight and support to OSP build and Operations teams Supporting removal of network build roadblocks associated with permitting, contractual interpretation via internal Brightspeed resource, external vendor resources or government bodiesCollaborating with network leadership and business domain leadership to design and implement future state processes that achieve program goals, and end-to-end process engineering objectivesAnalyzing, capturing, and interrupting Geographic Information System (GIS) and related IQGeo dataCommunicating Training, Job Aids, Methods & Procedures to numerous stakeholders and their teamsCreating and maintaining IT enhancement requirements for fiber design and build organizationPerforming User Acceptance Technical TestingPerforming periodic Quality Inspections on the Fiber BuildWillingness to travel periodically for staff meetings, vendor meets, locale relationship building
