Job DescriptionSenior Consultant - Functional SAP LO-AB ( SAP Logistics - Agency Business) - The Settlement Management component supports all types of settlement processes, including core business processes that need to be fully integrated in the order-to-cash cycle or within in a procure-to-pay scenario, such as rebate settlement, as well as standalone processes, whereby we provide special financial settlement services for our business partners. This is part of SAP LO-AB (SAP Logistics - Agency Business) suite of SAP EA-RETAIL module. We offer benefits or services to the parties involved, such as del credere guarantees or simplified payment transactions, and perform settlement accounting in the system. We are end-to-end responsible for these solutions that are used by METRO countries and Metro Business Partners.Your role will be in Settlement Management where you can support the digital innovation of a modern SAP S/4 HANA based Settlement Management solution based on SAP LO-AB (SAP Logistics - Agency Business). This solution is deployed for the METRO countries and is part of the foundation of the payment factory of METRO IT landscape.Key Responsibilities:Act as the in-house senior functional expert, ensuring the stability and performance of SAP LO-AB (SAP Logistics - Agency Business) payment factory solution.Collaborate with business teams, IT service manager and local IT team to define functional requirements and enhancements to ensure the proper integration of business processes.Coordinate and functionally validate the deliverables.Support system integration with S/4HANA, SAP ECC and non-SAP systems via IDOC, SFTP and APIs.Participate in system design, configuration reviews, and change control processes.Troubleshoot system issues and lead root cause analysis.Ability to continuously evaluate and optimize SAP LO-AB (SAP Logistics - Agency Business) processes to improve efficiency and performance. Support system upgrades in collaboration with Basis, GRC (user and rights management) and infrastructure teams.Ensure proper transport management, versioning, and documentation.Support testing activities: functional testing, SIT, UAT, defect management.Support data migration activities related to supplier master data.Prepare and review project documents such as design documents, configuration documents, technical/functional specification documents and present them to the stakeholders. Ensure updated documentation for primary support areas.Demand /Requirement Management - Ensure daily monitoring of assigned Incidents and Change Requests to avoid any slippage or SLA breaches.Required key competencies and technical skills:Minimum 5-8 years SAP functional expertise, with at least 4 years in SAP LO-AB (SAP Logistics - Agency Business)At least 1 end-to-end implementation of SAP LO-AB (SAP Logistics - Agency Business) release cycleIn-depth knowledge of S/4HANA and SAP Business Partner, Settlement Management, Condition based Pricing, Contract Management (WCOCO)Hands on experience in below core components of SAP LO-AB (SAP Logistics - Agency Business) –Business partner master: SupplierBusiness partner master: CustomerCVI CockpitCustomizing Settings for Settlement ManagementCalculation Schema DeterminationPrice Determination Using the Condition Technique – PricingPurchasing and sales account determinationOrganizational structures for PurchasingSettlement RequestRemuneration DocumentCondition Contract ManagementIdoc processing and configurationSupports in FI integration of SAP LO-AB (SAP Logistics - Agency Business)Supports functionally for RICEF developmentsStrong debugging and problem-solving skills.Strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.Being a team player and collaborating well with colleagues from IT and business across all METRO units and countries.
