Job DescriptionThe EHS & Technical Lead will champion a robust safety culture and drive employee engagement across the site to achieve enhanced safety performance and cultivate a zero-tolerance approach to incidents. This role requires a collaborative, proactive individual who can partner effectively across all functions, adapt to the dynamic manufacturing environment, and own the development and delivery of a best-in-class safety training program and culture. While not directly managing a team, you will act as a key influencer across other teams, maintaining a hands-on presence on the shopfloor to ensure the highest standards are met.Key ResponsibilitiesThis is an on-site position with a hands-on presence on the shopfloor to influence and drive safety awareness.Cultivate a proactive and adaptable safety culture across all functions, overseeing EHS activities for the Zoeterwoude site and providing support/oversight for other Thermopatch sites in the Netherlands (Almere and Helmond).Develop and deliver environmental, health, and safety education and training to meet regulatory and Avery Dennison business standards.Lead incident investigations (releases, injuries, near-misses) and implement High-Value Learnings while maintaining EHS culture at a high level.Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance and repair work on plant equipment and systems, influencing technical teams without direct reports.This role requires travel for day visits to the Almere and Helmond sites approximately once every two weeks.
