In this role, you will work 1st Shift, 7AM-3PM.The Team Members We're Looking For...In this role, you will develop skills in warehouse operations related to both production and vendor products. This includes:Working the main receiving dock and managing the final disposition of products.Receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials.Distribution of finished goods.Daily responsibilities will include:Receiving, identifying, and verifying incoming materials from production and/or outside vendors, and storing them in appropriate locations according to specifications and department guidelines.Distributing and/or storing items per department guidelines and specifications.Accurately processing and maintaining all related documentation, both via PC and handwritten.Utilizing appropriate material handling equipment to load and/or unload truckload carriers as per specifications.Preparing orders for shipment according to instructions and specifications, including pallet labeling, consolidation, or stretch wrapping.Maintaining inventory as per department guidelines.Responding to all inter-company requests for materials and material counts, serving as a resource for team members and others in resolving related issues and problems.As a member of a production support team, training, assisting, and supporting other team members in problem-solving and achieving department goals.Continuously reviewing current processes and seeking improvement methods to enhance product/process quality, reduce waste, rework, and unnecessary work that does not add value.Performing general housekeeping tasks and waste removal within the department/group and assisting other areas as required.Assisting and supporting in other job functions within the process or other company processes within scope and ability, based on business needs.
