Job DescriptionRole OverviewWe are seeking an exceptional and highly experienced IBM i (AS/400 / iSeries) Lead with deep expertise in RPG, ILE RPG, CL, DDS, IFS  - System-level and structured programming skills.The role focuses on the integration, maintenance, and ongoing development of EDI Customer and 3PL Distribution Center (DC) environments within our ERP platform ISIS.This position plays a key role in mission-critical EDI and logistics-related processes and requires close collaboration with international stakeholders, EDI specialists, and project leadership. The position require currently 2 Developer responsible for 5 Regions.  Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, enhance, and maintain EDI applications on IBM i (AS/400 / iSeries) platformsDevelop and optimize solutions using RPG, ILE RPG, CL, IFS and SQLPerform system-level and structured programming following best practices for performance, stability, and maintainabilityIntegrate and maintain existing and new customers within the ISIS ERP systemImplement and support 3PL Distribution Center (DC) warehouse integrationsEnsure seamless EDI process integration across customers, partners, and logistics providersAttend daily EDI project status meetings with project leadership to communicate priorities, progress, risks, and dependenciesAnalyze requirements, create technical concepts, and translate business needs into robust technical solutions – search the collaboration with Intl. Delivery Manager to align Processes and Solutions.Support production systems, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiativesCollaborate with international teams across IT, EDI, logistics, and business operationsRequired Skills & ExperienceExtensive hands-on experience as an IBM i / AS/400 / iSeries developerStrong mastery of RPG and ILE RPGSolid background in system programming IFS and structured programming methodologiesProven experience integrating EDI processes, customers, and logistics partnersKnowledge of 3PL / warehouse / distribution center (DC) processesStrong understanding of database concepts (DB2 for i) and SQLAbility to work in complex, mission-critical, high-availability environmentsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skillsFluent English communication skills (written and spoken)Basic Knowledge of EDI standards (e.g., EDIFACT, ANSI X12)
