Job DescriptionRadio Systems EngineerWorking Hours - Monday - Friday 37.50 (between 8.00 AM - 6.00 PM) Must have full UK Driving License We are looking for someone with 2nd Line Radio Services experience, including maintenance and fault resolution. This is a fast-paced environment, so it is essential that you can manage a changing list of priorities. This position is based in Chippenham, Wiltshire – providing 2nd Line support for national radio contracts. Flexibility for On-call Rota and Overtime hours when required. Due to the nature of this role successful applicant must ideally have current SC clearance including CTC Enhanced Level 2 or be eligible to obtain those clearances. Purpose of the role: This is a significant role within our Managed Solutions team. This role reports into the Senior Radio Systems Engineer and forms part of a Managed Solutions team. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Provide customer support to end users to triage faults/issues Providing 2nd line technical support to field based engineers relating to radio faults Provides technical support for the development, construction, maintenance and optimisation of radio networks. Installing, configuring and testing radio network equipment and software components. Undertake repairs of various handheld and rack mounted radio equipment. Attend customer sites to perform site surveys, system maintenance, assist with fault finding/repair or project work as necessary. To partake in Out of Hours telephone support as part of a rota.
