Job DescriptionThe Pipeline Commercialization & Strategy (PCS) organization develops commercial strategy for key assets across AbbVie’s pipeline. The Associate Director, Global Pipeline Forecasting, Oncology, will partner with the Director, Pipeline Forecasting, Oncology, to plan, execute, and deliver forecasting and commercial analytics in support of AbbVie’s oncology pipeline in collaboration with the PCS team.This role is responsible for developing commercial forecasts that support strategic decisions related to pipeline and lifecycle projects, as well as AbbVie’s ongoing financial planning processes. In addition, this individual will serve as a key point of contact for commercial analytics support related to PCS strategic initiatives.Position OverviewThe Associate Director, Pipeline Forecasting, Oncology is responsible for developing commercial forecasts for pipeline compounds and on-market product lifecycle projects. This role also leads and/or coordinates forecasting and commercial analytics activities supporting strategic commercial development initiatives.The position works closely with Commercial, Marketing, Market Access, Finance, Operations, and senior leadership, and reports to the Director, Global Pipeline, Forecasting, Oncology.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Partner with Global Commercial Leads and Pipeline Commercial Leads to provide a data-driven perspective on asset value across therapeutic areas.Lead and coordinate forecasting efforts for assigned therapeutic areas.Plan and support market insights activities to inform forecasting, in collaboration with Marketing Analytics.Develop and maintain forecast models to support long-range planning, milestone decisions, strategic planning, and business development opportunities.Lead the design and implementation of model enhancements and new forecasting approaches as needed.Provide real-time decision support through close collaboration with PCS stakeholders and cross-functional partners across AbbVie, including:US Commercial and FinanceR&DDecision SciencesMarketing Analytics & Business InsightsHEORGlobal EpidemiologyGlobal and US Market Access and PricingRegulatoryMedicalGlobal Marketing & Commercial OperationsArea and Affiliate Commercial organizationsChampion the PCS mission and vision, as well as AbbVie Leadership Attributes.
