If you want work that genuinely challenges you, this is where you come.The roleAs Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the full mechanical design lifecycle across a portfolio of building projects in Malaysia. You will bring strong technical judgement to complex design challenges, manage the tender and contract administration process, and work closely with engineers across disciplines to deliver coordinated, high-quality outcomes.This is a role for someone who is ready to step up, take ownership of their work end to end, and contribute to raising the standard of mechanical engineering delivery across the team.How you will contributeMechanical systems designDesign and specify mechanical systems for buildings, including air conditioning, mechanical ventilation, active fire protection systems, cold water and sanitary plumbing systems, swimming pool filtration systems and gas utilityPrepare design-related documents including design calculations, design briefs, technical drawings and authority submissionsCollaborate with engineers across other disciplines, clients’ project teams and external consultants to coordinate and detail project design requirementsUndertake other duties as assigned from time to timeTender and contract managementManage the tender process, including cost estimations, tender documents, technical specifications, tender evaluation and tender reportingManage contract administration in accordance with PAM or IEM contracts, including construction monitoring and site supervisionSite and coordinationAttend technical meetings, review contractor’s technical submissions, witness key testing / commissioning activities
