If you want work that genuinely challenges you, this is where you come.The roleAs Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the full mechanical design lifecycle across a varied portfolio of building projects in Malaysia. From early-stage concept through to site completion, you will design and specify complex mechanical systems, manage the tender and contract administration process, and collaborate with engineers across other disciplines to deliver integrated, high-performance buildings.This is a role for someone who takes ownership of their work from drawing board to commissioning, and who wants to see the direct impact of their engineering in the built environment.How you will contributeMechanical systems designDesign and specify mechanical systems for buildings, including air conditioning, mechanical ventilation, active fire protection systems, cold water and sanitary plumbing systems, swimming pool filtration systems and gas utilityPrepare design-related documents including design calculations, design briefs, technical drawings and authority submissionsCollaborate with engineers across other disciplines, clients’ project teams and external consultants to coordinate and detail project design requirementsUndertake other duties as assigned from time to timeTender and contract managementManage the tender process, including cost estimations, tender documents, technical specifications, tender evaluation and tender reportingManage contract administration in accordance with PAM or IEM contracts, including construction monitoring and site supervisionSite and coordinationAttend technical meetings, review contractor’s technical submissions, witness key testing / commissioning activities.
