Job DescriptionYou will join our Water department As our new Engineer, in the UK networks team you will be part of Water department. As a member of the Water team, you will be responsible for carrying out the network design for storm water and wastewater. Validation of existing drainage system and value engineering. Also, responsible for carrying out the checks of the drawings produced by CAD technicians in the team and maintaining quality of deliverables. You will be also doing stormwater management using SUDS, providing green and nature-based solutions.Key tasks and ResponsibilitiesDevelopment of base models in infodrainage/ microdrainage, collaborate with relevant stakeholders.Model optimization and validation.Runoff assessment, Storm drainage planning, proposal of SUDS feature integration in drainage network system and design of proposed infrastructure.Planning of future network as per construction phasing and optioneering in integration with existing infrastructure.You will be responsible for preparation of technical reports, 3D model coordination, 2D layout drawings and standard details.Engineer shall co-ordinate with Project Manager and Assistant Engineer/Principal Engineer/Technical Manager and be primarily involved in delivering the scheduled tasks in the form of design calculations and drawings.You shall co-ordinate & collaborate with his/her counterparts across the globe & in India while working on national/international projects.
