Click the apply-button to send your application.Your new roleAs our new Senior Port and Marine Engineer and Project Portfolio Manager, you will join a highly recognised marine team, with excellent collaboration with contractors, port owners and renewable developers worldwide. You will be part of a diverse international department across Ramboll Denmark, and work on major marine projects across all stages from planning to detailed design together with our team of highly engaged and specialized engineers. We have a strong pipeline of national and international marine projects with a determined focus to make the marine world future-fit. Currently we are leading several major port projects across Europe and overseas, ensuring the green energy transition and blue infrastructure.Join us in doing what we are great at as design engineers – together we can shape the future and support the green energy transition plus increasing the blue infrastructure.Our department works with a broad spectrum of marine projects, from feasibility studies, Port Master planning, to design and supervision. Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:Take responsibility for technical project delivery as Project and Portfolio ManagerDrive the development and innovation of our structural skill set as a team effortEngage in Ramboll’s Marine growth strategyGrow and maintain great client relationsMaintain the highest level of quality in our deliverablesActively promote our capabilities in the marketCo-create closely with clients and stakeholders, focussing on value creationAct as role model for our younger team membersAbout youFrom the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or similar)Preferably +15 years proven experience in the design of marine structures, such as quay, jetty, and berthing structures, pile decks, caissons, block walls, dolphins etc.Passion for strategic growth and Business developmentKnowledge about port equipment, mooring systems, and navigationExtensive knowledge of relevant design codes and design methodologyLarge experience with complex multidisciplinary marine projects, such as ports, flood defences, artificial island or immersed tunnelsYou thrive with new client relationsGreat communication skills - English at a professional level, Danish is highly appreciated any other language skills are a plusYou thrive in a dynamic work environment with many stakeholdersSustainability is on top of your mindset and you actively want to investigate and apply green solutionYour skillset is respected in the market, and you have built up a valuable network, enabling you to understand clients’ needs and market trends.Personal qualities, that will help you succeed in this role include an open mindset and the ability to work both independently and as a team player.You are a confident communicator and enjoy pushing the innovation and technical excellence to the next level, as well as motivating younger engineers and onboarding them on the marine engineering journey.
