Job DescriptionThe Compliance & Internal Audit Department (“CIAD”) is looking for a  data analyst based in Sofia, with analytical expertise, and ability to understand business processes & risks. The CIAD has been embedding data analytics across the compliance & audit lifecycle for years, in close coordination with Compliance Monitoring Department (“CMD”), which has been pursuing a dynamic implementation of Continuous Control Monitoring. Our department aims to leverage technology to optimize the performance and the effectiveness of internal auditors, compliance officers and other business functions.Your role will mainly include the following:Understand compliance, audit and business processes, risks & control objectivesDefine the necessary analytics for the monitoring, identifying the appropriate data for the question at handExamine populations of data using various techniques (e.g., descriptive, predictive, prescriptive), and raise potential issues (such as identifying attributes that previously were out of reach, or discerning relationships and correlations that were never visible)Develop, schedule and document code. This will require having a good understanding of key system databases, group methodologies/policiesTest the results with end usersContinuously monitor key risksMaintain existing controlsProvide guidance and assistance to our internal clientsContribute to department improvement initiativesBuild reports & Kpis on activities & results for different committeesCommunicate & present achievements to stakeholdersDevelop the controls with Python, and/or to translate existing controls from ACL to Python.Develop machine learning workflows using algorithms in Cardabel
