This is more than a job—it’s a meaningful role where you’ll walk alongside our Indigenous team members, offering cultural guidance, emotional support, and career development.Your role will include:Facilitating regular “yarns” and mentor visits with Indigenous employees on siteSupporting individual career plans and connecting team members to external servicesPromoting Sodexo’s Reconciliation Action Plan and engaging with Traditional Owners and EldersProviding cultural awareness training to non-Indigenous staffWorking closely with National Indigenous Affairs Manager, HR, Learning & Development, to empower and provide your mentees with the tools and resources they need to succeed.You will closely with the Traditional Owners to deliver meaningful and authentic engagement to drive employment, training, and community development initiativesYou’ll bring:A strong understanding of Australian Indigenous cultures and communitiesExperience offering mentoring, career support, or psycho-social servicesThe ability to build trust, create safe spaces, and maintain professional boundariesExperience and knowledge of meaningful engagement with Traditional OwnersStrong communication and cultural training skillsComputer literacy and administrative confidenceA current Police Clearance
