Job DescriptionReporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, the Warehouse Driver is responsible for safely driving and operating trailer trucks to transport Farm Boy goods and materials over inner-city and inter-city routes in a timely manner. The performance of the duties must ensure a quality service approach to all employees, customers and suppliers. All responsibilities must be performed in a manner consistent with the Farm Boy Way.Major Responsibilities:Ensures delivery and pick up of product from the warehouse, between Farm Boy stores and vendors.Maintains full responsibility for the safe loading and unloading goods from trucks, between suppliers, the warehouse and stores.  Ensure the safety and security of cargo at all times.Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of the trucks including all vehicle systems and equipment such as tires, lights, brakes and cold storage.Record cargo information, distance traveled fuel consumption and other related information in the log book.Maintain valid licenses and driving record.Required to assist in warehouse duties as needed.May be requested to undertake other related duties on a periodic basis.
