Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Systems Engineering Analyst to join our System Engineering team, supporting multiple Tactical Communication and Information Systems (TacCIS) for international customers. The TacCIS provides armed forces with a highly integrated tactical system comprised of communication systems such as radios and telephony, core networking systems that connect intelligence and surveillance assets, battle management systems that enable streamlined operations, and information management systems that process large amounts and types of data.Based in either our Calgary facility, the ideal candidate would undertake several different initiatives, including (but not limited to) developing system requirements, modelling the system using MBSE techniques, and contextualizing the operational use cases of the system.Key Responsibilities:Work with the System Engineering Team to elicit and define operational requirements and desired capabilities in collaboration with various customers.Develop activity, sequence, use case, and block definition diagrams to describe mission scenarios and use cases.Develop system requirements, interface specifications, and end-to-end information flows.Manage the traceability of higher-level requirements to lower-level requirements and to test artifacts.Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) techniques to develop Operational and System Views.Present status updates and conduct reviews with internal and external stakeholders.Support testing activities including verification and validation of requirements, writing test cases, and producing Verification Cross Reference Matrices (VCRMs)
