Job Description Who will you be working with?You will be work as part of centralized Supplier Quality Organization to establish/ensure a strong Quality in the Supplier Panel cross Transit Region.How will you make a difference?You will be responsible for the assessment and re-assessment of suppliers in your scope and will conduct approval of initial samples and perform FAIs at supplier.You will manage critical supplier issues in cooperation with PL/ Site Quality, Purchasing and Engineering to ensure proper Root cause analysis, Corrective action and recovery plan implementation as well as effective cost recovery process from suppliers for COPQ.To ensure continuous supplier performance improvement, you will support development plans for selected suppliers within the assigned commodity. What will your typical day look like?Ensure Supplier Quality for the assigned commodityPerform assessment and re-assessment audits (Generic and Special processes) at suppliers in commodity panel and follow-up the defined actions in link to these audits as per Wabtec rulesManage PPAPs (Initial sample releases and FAIs) at suppliers in link to release of new partsProcess re-qualification at main suppliers in the panel to ensure quality standard and continuous supplier developmentExecute supplier development programs with suppliers and internal stakeholders (e.g., Engineering, Supply Chain, Purchasing)Follow Top Offender meetings and QBR/QQR with main suppliers of assigned (sub-)commodityEnsure resolution of Critical supplier issues (Hot Issues) within the commodity in cooperation with Product Line/ Site Quality, Engineering and Project Management:Ensure proper root cause analysis at suppliers and highlight needed internal improvements in link to significant supplier issuesAutonomous management of dedicated Supplier Commodity- Audit, QQR, Top Worst Supplier Planning.Ensure implementation and efficiency of corrective / preventive actions at suppliers for these significant supplier issuesSupport effective COPQ recovery process from suppliers in cooperation with Commodity Lead Buyers and  Product Line / Site organization (Quality, Purchasing, Project Management)Regular review and reporting of status and progress of these Critical supplier issues to SQD Responsible
