Job DescriptionWho will you be working with?You will be part of a cross‑functional manufacturing support organization, working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Quality, and Logistics teams. This group partners daily with shop‑floor operations and design teams to ensure material readiness, configuration accuracy, and efficient material flow across locomotive manufacturing programs. The team plays a critical role in bridging product design and execution, supporting both current production and new product introductions. How will you make a difference?As a member of the Manufacturing & Supply Chain Operations group, you will be responsible for designing and sustaining material presentation, kitting, and locomotive configuration management solutions that enable safe, efficient, and uninterrupted production. You will support shop‑floor operations by ensuring materials are delivered in the right quantity, sequence, and timing, while maintaining accurate Bills of Material (BOM) and configuration alignment. The role leads continuous improvement initiatives, supports new product introductions and engineering changes, and partners with stakeholders to reduce material shortages, improve flow, and drive operational excellence. You will regularly report progress, risks, and KPIs to manufacturing and supply chain leadership.
