You will gain valuable NHS project experience while working in a professional and safety-focused environment.Key Responsibilities:Install and replace Layer 2 network switches across designated hospital wards and departments.Label, patch, and test network connections to ensure proper connectivity and performance.Follow configuration templates and deployment plans in collaboration with the Network Engineering team.Document installation activities including port mappings, device locations, and serial numbers.Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostics to verify switch functionality post-installation.Work in accordance with hospital infection control and safety protocols.Coordinate with clinical and facilities teams to arrange downtime and access.Escalate issues to Level 3 support or Network Engineers where required.
