Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a talented and dedicated professional to fill the position of Construction Site Supervisor with Canam. This role requires travelling throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of USA. As a member of our team, your responsibilities include:Coordinate with plant coordinators (steel delivery, steel deck, joists, hardware), steel erectors (daily requests), and project managers.Attend field meeting with other trades and summarize to the project manager.Coordinate with the detailing/engineering department – field works, revision of drawings, clarifications (missing details).Accept erection drawings (follow-up on acceptance dates).Follow-up with transportation for deliveries issues.Reception of materials and hardware (validate all delivery slips).Daily site report (daily log – plan grid).Assist the steel erector in repair requests (field work and deficiencies).Quality control, visual only.Assist health and safety coordinators.Attend and participate in, on and off-site meetings; including, but not limited to, health and safety meetings.Update daily site progress in Smartsheet.Monitor schedules and update on a daily basis. Communicate with various stakeholders and the general contractor.Manage on-site record-keeping, including but not limited to, daily site specific hazard assessments.
