Job DescriptionTalan are seeking a highly skilled Back-Office Business Analyst with proven experience in designing and delivering digital client onboarding portals. This role sits at the intersection of operations, technology, and product, and is critical to enhancing client onboarding journeys through intuitive UI/UX, streamlined workflows, and robust integration with trading systems.You will work closely with stakeholders across Product, UX/UI, Compliance, and Trading teams to define, analyse, and implement scalable onboarding solutions within a fast-paced financial services environment.Key ResponsibilitiesExperienced in leading the analysis, design, and implementation and automating of digital client onboarding portal journeys from concept to deliveryCollaborate with UI/UX designers and Product Managers to create seamless and user-centric onboarding experiencesTranslate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and process flowsMap and optimize back-office workflows, ensuring efficiency and regulatory complianceAct as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams throughout the project lifecycleSupport integration of onboarding platforms with trading systems, KYC/AML tools, and client data repositoriesProvide subject matter expertise on pre-trade and post-trade processes and their impact on onboardingConduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and solution validationParticipate in testing (UAT), implementation, and post-release supportRequired Skills & ExperienceProven experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, preferably within back-office or operations teamsHands-on experience delivering digital client onboarding portals or similar customer journey platformsStrong understanding of Figma in UI/UX principles and ability to collaborate effectively with design teamsSolid knowledge of trading environments, including both pre-trade and post-trade processesExperience working with cross-functional teams including Product, Technology, Compliance, and OperationsStrong documentation skills (BRDs, FRDs, user stories, workflows, etc.)Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologiesExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsExperience with KYC/AML onboarding systems and regulatory frameworksKnowledge of financial instruments and capital marketsExposure to workflow automation tools or BPM platformsExperience working with APIs and system integrations
