Job DescriptionTo execute inspections upon request by the GIS Manager in all product lines for which training has been received.To schedule and oversee execution of all inspection activities being handled by junior inspectors within Textile division and ensure inspection timelines are strictly adhered to.To coordinate daily movement of self and those of subordinate inspectors in a manner that maximizes efficiency, cost control and time utilization for field operations.To fully comply with inspection rules applicable to Textile inspection execution according to Inspection Job Order, Quality System Procedures and/or any other applicable document/manual related to inspection execution and reporting.To conduct inspections as per client’s instructions but within company, statutory and regulatory requirements.To prepare and draft reports of inspections and submit for approval to the line manager prior to submission to the client.To ensure that client’s requirements and specific needs are expeditiously met and that professionalism and high standards and level of integrity are consistently maintained during inspection.To ensure (where applicable) that field subordinates under your control are adequately briefed and competent to carry out day to day activities in a professional manner in line with SGS Code of Ethics and Integrity and SGS Rules for Life.
