Renewal and upgrade preparationPrepare comprehensive data packs for renewals, upgrades, and license conversions — ensuring the field has accurate, timely inputs to executeCalculate ACV for renewing and upgrading contracts, including partial-year pro-ration, multi-element deals, and incremental ACV on expansionApply indexation correctly to renewing contracts in line with agreed terms and applicable indicesDetermine residual asset values for early renewals — understanding the commercial and contractual implications of bringing a renewal forwardEnsure all renewal preparation is completed well in advance of contract expiry to give field teams sufficient time to engage2. Contract and commercial termsUnderstand and apply standard IFS contract commercial terms — including pricing structures, uplift mechanisms, discount frameworks, and renewal conditionsIdentify and flag commercial anomalies, non-standard terms, or pricing inconsistencies in renewing contracts before they reach the fieldSupport the preparation of residual contract asset valuations3. Data quality and CRMMaintain data accuracy across renewal records — current installation details, contract asset values, pricing, and discount structuresIdentify and ensure the regions resolve data discrepancies between source systems and CRM before they affect field reporting or executionSupport ongoing data quality improvements by flagging patterns of error or inconsistency to the team4.
