As their champion you will align Arista’s technical resources to achieve your customer’s business outcome. You will partner with some of the most skilled Customer Engineers in the industry in addition to our Professional Services and Executive teams to help them understand how to execute on your customer’s behalf. This role typically reports to a Regional Sales Manager or Area VP of Sales. What You'll DoWe currently have an opening for a Sales Associate Account Manager to join our growing Sales organization in the Upstate and/or Western New York area. This is an amazing opportunity for an individual who wants to pursue a career in sales.In this role you will be responsible for collaborating with the Sales Leadership team and Senior Account Managers to perform internal sales support functions including new sales pipeline development, lead generation, field marketing activities and sales operations support for Field Account Managers in region.  Arista appeals very strongly to engineering-centric organizations and thus a strong technical acumen and track record of selling data center networking solutions has proven to be highly valuable.Alternate Locations: Rochester | SyracuseJob Responsibilities:You will partner with Upstate New York Major Account Managers to conduct lead generation calls and email campaigns with key customer account influencers  to generate new meetings and sales pipeline.You will generate new opportunities for Arista's Software-Driven high performance Data Center and Campus switching platforms, VeloCloud SDWAN in addition to our DANZ Network Fabric Monitoring and Network Detection & Response security solutions. You will assist with the planning and coordination of quarterly field marketing events and track attendance metrics. You provide Sales operations support for Field Account Managers including sales quote assistance, order submissions, and assistance with billing issues. Attend sales training and shadow Senior Account Managers for career progression to a Field Territory Account Manager position. Keep up-to-date with technology partner solutions, competing solutions and competitor strategies.The TeamThis position will typically report to a Regional Sales Director or Regional VP of Sales. You will be part of a team that includes the best field engineers in the cloud networking industry. And, you will have the support of our industry-leading Arista TAC, proof-of-concept resources and executive team.
