Purpose of the role Analysing drawings, specifications and other documentation to prepare estimates in line with client requirements. Our projects range in value from £5k to £15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, and supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of detailed cost estimates and tender submissions. Review engineering drawings, specifications and tender documentation. Support site surveys and compile associated survey reports. Produce accurate quotations to agreed timescales. Maintain and update internal quotation and enquiry records. Liaise with internal teams including Proposals Engineers, Project Managers and the Bid Manager. Communicate with clients to clarify requirements, deadlines and follow-up actions. Ensure all enquiries are entered, updated and tracked through the CRM. Participate in handover meetings to ensure a smooth transition from tender to delivery. Essential:  Strong analytical and numerical skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Competent in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel). Willingness to undertake site visits and work in both office and field environments. Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn within a technical environment.   Desirable: Previous experience Qualification in an applicable field
