We're on a mission to redefine the customer experience, and we need a passionate General Manager - Cyber Security to join our Cyber team in Melbourne or Perth.   We are seeking a commercially astute and technically credible General Manager - Cyber Security to lead, scale, and mature our Cyber Security Business Unit.  This is a true business leadership role with full end to end accountability for strategy, growth, and financial performance. You will be responsible for defining and executing the Cyber Security vision, evolving our service offerings, and scaling the practice significantly over the coming years.  You will inherit a strong foundation, including an established SOC and delivery capability, and will be responsible for both optimising existing services and building new high value offerings to meet market demand.   This role is ideal for a leader who combines strong commercial acumen with deep cyber credibility and is motivated by building a high growth, high impact business unit.  NV1 Clearance or above is highly regarded in this role. What you'll do: Define and execute the Cyber Security Business Unit strategy aligned to company growth objectives Own full P&L accountability, including revenue growth, margin performance, pricing strategy, and cost control Scale the Cyber practice over the next 2–3 years, evolving services in line with market demand and threat landscape Build and mature a differentiated cyber portfolio across SOC, advisory, uplift programs, and incident response Establish frameworks, standards, and repeatable delivery models to enable scalable, consistent outcomes Drive pipeline development, conversion, and profitable delivery in partnership with Growth teams Enable BDMs and Account Managers through solution positioning, product knowledge, and deal strategy Lead complex opportunities, tenders, and key client engagements from a technical and commercial perspective Act as a trusted cyber advisor in customer discussions, including executive and board-level engagements Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing multidisciplinary cyber team across technical, consulting, and operations Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement Oversee delivery across all cyber services, ensuring quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction Maintain alignment with key frameworks such as ISO 27001 and Essential Eight Provide executive oversight of major incidents, risk, and governance across the practice Support regional growth initiatives, including expansion into New Zealand What you'll bring: Proven experience in a senior cyber security leadership role within managed services or technology environments Demonstrated success building, scaling, and commercialising cyber security practices or services Strong commercial acumen with experience owning or influencing P&L performance Track record of driving pipeline growth, deal conversion, and profitable outcomes Experience working with enterprise and government clients, including complex stakeholder environments Ability to shape and support sales strategies, including involvement in large or strategic deals Strong understanding of cyber services including SOC, incident response, GRC, and advisory Experience developing productised, repeatable service offerings for scale Solid knowledge of frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 and Essential Eight Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with strong executive presence and credibility Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams Strategic mindset with the ability to balance growth, delivery, and operational excellence Strong governance, risk management, and service delivery oversight capability
