We develop software for our business units, GoTyme Bank, which operates in South Africa and Southeast Asia and is rapidly expanding across Asia-Pacific. Based primarily in Vietnam, our team is distributed globally. The Team The role we are seeking will be part of the Design Team, which includes 30 professionals such as UX designers, UI designers, Design System specialists, Motion designers, Brand designers, UX Researchers, UX Writers, and UX strategists. We work together through meetings, critiques, and data-driven decisions. We are obsessed with quality design, and our commitment is reflected in our award-winning products. (Red Dot Award, UX Design Award, Design for Asia Award) HERE > https://shorturl.at/luR69 The Role As a UX Design Intern, you'll partner with GoTymeX's design team to create user-centered experiences for our banking applications across multiple markets (South Africa, Philippines, Vietnam, etc,…). You'll work on real product features, learning how to translate user needs into intuitive, accessible digital experiences while maintaining design system consistency across our multi-brand ecosystem. You'll be mentored by senior/lead designers, collaborate across product, engineering, and UX research teams, and own meaningful design contributions from research through developer handoff. What You'll Do • Assist senior designers across the product lifecycle, from wireframing to final UI. • Help to conduct user research and develop user journeys to inform design decisions • Create low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes, iterating based on feedback • Apply design system components and maintain visual consistency across products • Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering, and UX Research to align design direction • Present design work in reviews, articulate decisions, and respond constructively to feedback • Benchmark competitors and analyze existing features to identify best practices • Prepare clear design documentation and handoff specifications for developers • Master new design tools and frameworks while seeking mentorship proactively Required Qualifications • Final-year student or recent graduate from any discipline • Fluent in English (both written and spoken); design reviews conducted in English • Must commit to full-time (40 hours/week) for the 6-month program Preferred Qualifications • 1-3 personal or academic projects demonstrating design thinking and user research (To apply for this position, please send your resume and portfolio of some projects you have worked on.) • High sense of quality, attention to detail • Experience with Figma, Sketch, XD, or similar design tools • Coursework or self-study in UX fundamentals, user research, or interaction design is a plus • Familiarity with banking products or interest in financial technology is a plus • Previous experience collaborating on teams (student projects, hackathons, et
