High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred. Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or similar clinical role is advantageous. Understanding of medical terminology related to dermatology. Strong communication skills both verbal and written for effective patient interactions. Ability to manage sensitive patient information with the utmost confidentiality. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a medical setting. Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software is beneficial.
