Conduct basic lab tests and manage the handling and preparation of specimens for testing. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Manage appointment scheduling and facilitate smooth office communications. Educate patients on treatment plans, medication usage, and effective skincare practices. Ensure that examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with the necessary medical supplies. May participate in supporting the clinic’s social media presence, including gathering content, sharing clinic-approved updates, and assisting with community engagement efforts as directed High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is highly preferred. Social Media/Marketing experience preferred Previous experience in a medical assistant role or clinical setting is strongly desired. Familiarity with medical terminology, particularly related to dermatology. Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and standard office software is advantageous.
