Our client is looking for a Danish-speaking Collections Officer to join their team in Malta. The role reports directly to the Danish Team Leader and forms part of a team responsible for sales activities, customer onboarding, customer inquiries, and close cooperation with the collections department. This is a varied role combining customer service, sales, onboarding, and operational support within a multinational banking environment. You will play an important role in delivering high-quality customer experiences while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Provide customers with accurate information regarding the bank’s products, services, and payments Actively generate sales in line with the company’s strategy and guidelines Handle customer inquiries via telephone, live chat, email, and SMS Support onboarding processes, including document verification Ensure full compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures Deliver a high level of customer service at all times Work closely with payments and collections departments to ensure smooth operations Assist with additional customer-related inquiries as required Promote and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment Additional Responsibilities Assist in the creation of sales reports Support training and mentoring of new team members Contribute to documenting operational procedures Suggest improvements to systems, processes, and workflows Complete ad hoc tasks assigned by the Head of New Markets Fluent Danish and good English (written and spoken) Experience in customer service and sales of financial products Experience with client onboarding and document verification Strong communication skills with a results-driven mindset Detail-oriented with high personal work standards Proactive, able to take initiative, and work independently Strong team player with a customer-focused approach Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
