Reporting to the Airline Revenue Accounting – Operations Manager, the Assistant Manager (Revenue Accounting) will be leading a team of revenue accounting technicians and coordinators. Thorough understanding of airline revenue accounting processes, including ticket sales, ancillary revenue, refunds, and interline billing. • Familiarity with industry-specific accounting standards (e.g., IATA Revenue Accounting Manual). • Experience in handling complex revenue recognition processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. • Strong ability to analyze large data sets to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvements. • Proficiency in forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis related to revenue • Ability to identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the revenue accounting function. • Experience working with technology teams to implement new systems or upgrade existing processes for efficiency. • Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams, delegating tasks, and fostering a positive work environment. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey complex financial information to nonfinancial stakeholders. • Ability to tackle challenges in revenue accounting by developing innovative solutions and making data driven decisions. • Expertise in troubleshooting discrepancies or errors in revenue data and resolving them efficiently. • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing and reconciling revenue data, ensuring financial records are complete and error-free.
