Our German business is led by a team of highly experienced MDs focused on delivering advisory services across Restructuring, Debt Advisory and Value Creation.    As a Senior Manager in the Restructuring & Advisory team, you will work with experienced colleagues to deliver multi-stakeholder, international and domestic restructuring & advisory engagements while also raising the profile of Interpath as a premier provider of Restructuring and Deals advisory services.   The successful candidate will perform a senior role in client facing teams and oversee a diverse range of projects involving Turnaround management, Restructuring & Transformation.  They will offer direct assistance to companies that are under-performing or experiencing a liquidity crisis directly impacting their survival.   Responsibilities will include: Leading a number of workstreams to stabilize a client’s financial and operational performance  Developing a detailed understanding of a client’s current position & prospects including a diagnostic assessment of key business & market issues and liquidity forecasting  Assessing current business plans & financial projections, identifying risks and opportunities  Identifying robust alternative solutions for the businesses and its stakeholders  Guiding clients through processes, including working capital improvement, cost reduction, possible bankruptcy preparation, liquidation analysis & credit agreement negotiations  Creating & implementing restructuring plans, including integrated financial models and 13 week cash flow forecasting tools  Negotiating with Stakeholders including Corporates, Investors, Banks and Lenders to gain support and consensus on restructuring initiatives  Build and maintain a strong network across Private Equity and Corporates, identifying opportunities to assist clients and deliver tailored solutions  Coach and mentor junior colleagues, contributing to their professional growth     Examples of projects include: Financial and Operational Restructuring  Cash & liquidity management and forecasting  Cross-border wind-downs & negotiations with Worker Councils   Distressed M&A  Preparation and validation of business plans   Independent business reviews  Short term cash flow forecasting   Cost saving initiatives & Profit Improvement Strong academic background with significant experience in a Restructuring team at a leading consultancy or Big Four   Prior experience in some or all of the following; urgent Restructuring and Turnaround projects, Independent Business Reviews (IBRs), Liquidity analysis, Market assessment, Capital structure analysis, Options review and stakeholder negotiation    Well-developed financial analysis skills and advanced experience in reviewing and presenting a range of financial and 3-statement financial models   Well developed team management and coaching skills in often urgent situations combined with excellent client communication and influencing skills    Well networked with a highly respected reputation for project delivery across the Private Equity and Corporate community  Native or business fluent German & English (C1) is essential. Additional European languages including French and Spanish are advantageous  Open to working on client site both within Germany and across the EU and internationally
