Our Spanish business is lead by a team of highly experienced MDs and they collaborate closely with their colleagues across Europe and globally to provide solutions to the complex issues facing business today. As a Manager or an Associate Director in the Restructuring & Advisory team in Madrid, you will work with experienced colleagues to deliver multi-stakeholder, international and domestic restructuring & advisory engagements. As part of a small team, the successful candidate will also have an opportunity to take a lead role on some projects and build a broad range of skills and experience within financial advisory. As part of a small team, the successful candidate will; Advise clients including Corporates, Investors, Banks, Lenders or any other stakeholders facing distressed situations Assess the viability of a client by conducting Market assessment, Capital structure analysis, Options review and Cash flow analysis Provide solutions including restructuring proposals & negotiation with stakeholders, contingency planning, Balance Sheet restructuring, Refinancing, Debt Advisory services and M&A Contribute to performance monitoring following business plan implementation Mentor and train other team members to enhance their development and performance Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders through the delivery of value-added client engagements Build strong relationships with clients across the Spanish and European Restructuring & Debt advisory network, becoming a trusted advisor for Restructuring & Advisory challenges Collaborate with other service lines to provide integrated financial solutions for client issues Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practice We welcome applications from a diverse range of backgrounds within Advisory including Transactions Advisory, Corporate Finance, Valuations, Restructuring, Debt Advisory and Value Creation. Strong educational background combined with experience at a Big 4, a boutique advisory, investment banking or a Private Equity firm ideally within Restructuring or Debt Advisory. Experience in conducting Capital structure analysis, Restructuring options reviews and Cash flow analysis are advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint including well-developed financial modelling and cash flow model building skills are highly useful in addition to strong analytical and quantitative abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines combined with strong attention to detail. Fluent business level English and Spanish are essential. Other European languages are welcome.
