Responsibilities Apply strong decision-making and communication skills in all security and safety duties Ensure all safety and emergency procedures are followed Follow site-specific Post Orders and complete required training Conduct traffic and pedestrian control at access points Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a motor vehicle to ensure personnel, building, and equipment security Monitor for safety hazards, infractions, and irregularities Report security breaches, facility hazards, and emergency situations Provide assistance and support to individuals in need Contact emergency responders (police, fire, ambulance) when required Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information Respond to inquiries professionally and appropriately Utilize two-way radios and computer applications Promote workplace safety and demonstrate professionalism and integrity Support and motivate team members Must live within 30 minutes of High Prairie Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (Class 1–5 accepted) Own reliable vehicle Full availability, including overnight shifts and weekends Ability to obtain an Alberta Security License Authorized to legally work in Canada Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to write detailed reports and maintain site logs Ability to make immediate decisions and remain composed in emergencies Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Ability to work under pressure Physically capable of walking 18–20 km per shift and climbing stairs Must be willing to travel between 400-500 km regularly (mileage, hotels, and per diem will be provided accordingly, speak to People & Culture team for details)
