Responsibilities Maintain a professional and visible security presence Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff Protect people, property, and healthcare assets Conduct interior and exterior patrols Respond to emergencies and support hospital code responses Complete incident reports and investigations Perform patient watches and enforce site policies Manage access control, keys, and parking enforcement Assist with safety inspections and additional site duties Work both independently and within a team environment Valid Ontario Security Guard License Valid First Aid & CPR Level C (WSIB-approved provider) Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (minimum two doses) Immunization records for MMR, Varicella, Pertussis, and TB (Step 1 & 2) Ability to be clean-shaven for N95 mask fit testing Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check Full-time availability with a minimum 6-month commitment Must be legally authorized to work in Canada Must provide Stay Safe certifications (or complete Paladin’s program prior to onboarding) Nice to Have Minimum 6 months of healthcare or security experience Customer service experience (6+ months preferred) Strong English communication skills (French is an asset) Reliable transportation
