Further information is available at www.nfigroup.com .   POSITION SUMMARY The Accounts Payable Supervisor will oversee daily Accounts Payable operations to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant vendor payments. This role will lead the Accounts Payable team, resolve complex issues, and drives process improvements. The position also partners with senior leadership to provide insights through reporting, metrics, and global process enhancements. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Coordinate and prioritize workload for the AP team, providing guidance, support, and oversight to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. Support the Accounts Payable Manager by preparing and communicating details related to weekly payment runs, cash requirements, and exceptions. Analyze and resolve complex invoice discrepancies, vendor disputes, and escalated payment issues in a timely and professional manner. Partner with Procurement, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to streamline procure-to-pay (P2P) workflows and improve cycle times. Maintain and enhance vendors master data management processes and payment controls to prevent fraud, duplicate payments, and compliance risks. Mentor, train, and provide ongoing feedback to Accounts Payable Administrators to support performance, development, and engagement. Assist in developing, documenting, and maintaining AP policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency and audit readiness. Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Support audits by providing documentation, explanations, and process walkthroughs as required. WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: 5-10 years of progressive accounts Payable experience, including team lead or supervisory responsibilities Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procure-to-pay processes Excellent communication and team leadership skills Advanced MS Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting Experience with AP automation or invoice processing systems preferred, particularly in high-volume or multi-entity environments High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy
